What is a cheekbone lift?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The threads have tiny, spike-like teeth that grab and lift the soft tissues in that area of the face. <\/span><\/p>\n

The threads are inserted in precise locations with a long needle and, once inserted under the skin, open in an umbrella shape to form a support structure that gently lifts and restores the tissues to a more upright and youthful position.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the lifting effect assured, the needle is removed, the end of the thread is cut and knotted, allowing it to retract deep under the skin where it cannot be felt or seen. Non-resorbable threads remain within deep tissues and provide support. <\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike conventional sutures, which are soft, the threads have tiny, evenly spaced teeth. Once inserted under the skin, they are set with a tension that creates a suspension effect that gently lifts sagging tissues. The threads are transparent, so they are not visible under light or thin skin. <\/span><\/p>\n

Typically, the pain from the procedure is very minimal. There are some simple measures and instructions that patients should follow a few days after the facelift. Experience has shown that the duration and degree of improvement varies depending on the patient’s age at the time of the cheek lift procedure, the degree of sagging, and the number of threads used. <\/span><\/p>\n
